October at Deep Portage

October is arguably the most beautiful month of the year at Deep Portage, and it is also one of our busiest. The month starts with the wonder of fall colors, and ends with the distinct feeling of impending winter. The photos below are from a mid-month visit by Cuyuna Range (Crosby-Ironton), and a late-month visit by Chaska Middle School. Happy Halloween everybody!
